The invention relates to an aircraft, a control system for the aircraft, and a method of controlling the aircraft. An aircraft, a method of controlling the aircraft, and a control system for the aircraft have a fuselage and a tilt wing movable relative to the fuselage. A plurality of main thrusters are coupled to the main propeller, the main propeller is coupled to the tilt wing, and the plurality of main thrusters are configured to provide a first maximum thrust force. A plurality of auxiliary thrusters are coupled to an auxiliary propeller spaced apart from the tilt wing, the plurality of auxiliary thrusters configured to provide a variable thrust force. When the tilt wing moves from the cruise position to the transition position, the controller signals the main thruster to operate at a first maximum thrust force; the controller signals the auxiliary thruster to operate at a variable thrust force when the tilted wing is in a transition position in which the first maximum thrust force and the variable thrust force together provide a total thrust to descend and land the aircraft.
