The invention provides an in-vehicle passenger identification method and related equipment thereof, which are applied to a radar system, and the method comprises the following steps: detecting an in-vehicle environment, and judging whether a moving object exists or not; if yes, first radar point cloud information of a horizontal area in the vehicle is acquired, and position information of the moving object is confirmed; acquiring second radar point cloud information of a height area of the moving object according to the position information, and identifying a passenger type to which the moving object belongs according to the first radar point cloud information and the second radar point cloud information; and when the automobile is in a static and locked state, if a specified type of passenger is identified, alarm information is sent out. In the initial stage, the environment in the vehicle is detected, and false alarms caused by non-biological objects are eliminated. Besides, multiple features of the moving object are disassembled from the two dimensions of the horizontal area and the height area, and the passenger type to which the moving object belongs is finely identified through calculation of the multiple features, so that false alarms or missing alarms are further eliminated, and the alarm accuracy of the passengers left in the vehicle is improved.

    本发明提供一种车内乘客识别方法及其相关设备,应用于雷达系统,所述方法包括:探测车内环境,判断是否存在运动对象;若是,则获取车内水平区域的第一雷达点云信息,确认运动对象的位置信息;根据位置信息,获取运动对象的高度区域的第二雷达点云信息,并根据第一雷达点云信息和第二雷达点云信息,识别运动对象所属的乘客类型;当汽车处于静止且关锁状态时,若识别到指定类型乘客,则发出报警信息。本发明在初始阶段探测车内环境,排除非生物对象引起的误报警。此外,从水平区域和高度区域两个维度拆解运动对象的多项特征,通过多项特征计算,对运动对象所属的乘客类型做精细的识,进一步地排除误报警或漏报警,提升车内遗留乘客的报警的准确度。
