The invention discloses a double-motor parallel operation power transmission system and a parallel operation method. The transmission system comprises a main motor I, a main gear box I, a parallel operation gear box, a main gear box II, a main motor II, an auxiliary motor speed reducer II, an auxiliary motor II, an auxiliary motor I and an auxiliary motor speed reducer I, the output end of the main motor I is connected with the input end of the main gearbox I. The output end of the auxiliary motor I is connected with the input end of the main gearbox I through the auxiliary motor reducer I. The output end of the main motor II is connected with the input end of the main gearbox II, and the output end of the auxiliary motor II is connected with the input end of the main gearbox II through the auxiliary motor reducer II. The output ends of the main gear box I and the main gear box II respectively output driving loads through the parallel operation gear box; and the output ends of the main gear box I and the main gear box II respectively output driving loads through the parallel operation gear box. The method has the advantages of being high in adaptability, compatibility and universality, and smooth parallel operation of the double motors can be achieved under the condition that the rotating speed control precision of the motors is insufficient.
