The invention relates to a thermal management system and a control method thereof and an electric vehicle, the thermal management system comprises a compressor, a battery heat exchanger and an expansion structure, the battery heat exchanger comprises a first battery sub-heat exchanger and a second battery sub-heat exchanger, and the expansion structure comprises a first expansion valve. One end of the first battery sub-heat exchanger is communicated with one end of the first expansion valve, the other end is communicated with one of an outlet and an inlet of the compressor, one end of the second battery sub-heat exchanger is communicated with the other end of the first expansion valve, and the other end is communicated with the other one of the outlet and the inlet of the compressor; wherein the first battery sub-heat exchanger and the second battery sub-heat exchanger correspond to different areas of the battery assembly respectively, so that one area of the battery assembly is heated, and the other area of the battery assembly is cooled. The thermal management system can improve the refinement degree of battery thermal management, match the cold/thermal load demand difference of each local part of the battery assembly, reduce the temperature difference of the battery assembly, improve the battery performance and protect the service life of the battery.

    本公开涉及一种热管理系统及其控制方法和电动车辆,该热管理系统包括压缩机、电池换热器和膨胀结构,电池换热器包括第一电池子换热器和第二电池子换热器,膨胀结构包括第一膨胀阀,第一电池子换热器的一端与第一膨胀阀的一端连通,另一端与压缩机的出口与进口其中之一连通,第二电池子换热器的一端与第一膨胀阀的另一端连通,另一端与压缩机的出口与进口中另外一者连通;其中,第一电池子换热器和第二电池子换热器分别与电池组件的不同区域对应,使得电池组件的其中一区域进行加热,另外一区域进行冷却。该热管理系统能够提高电池热管理的精细化程度,匹配电池组件各局部的冷/热负荷需求差异,减小电池组件温差,提升电池性能,保护电池寿命。
