A magnetic resistance suspension system for a vehicle comprises a wheel assembly, a magnetic resistance damping assembly and a vehicle frame assembly. The magnetic resistance linear motor is adopted as a main body structure of the shock absorber, the output shaft of the magnetic resistance linear motor is directly connected with the executing mechanism, a middle transmission mechanism is omitted, and the overall structure is more compact. Due to the non-magnetic characteristic of the reluctance linear motor, the motor does not need to overcome cogging torque to do work when started, the needed starting torque is smaller, and therefore the size of the motor can be designed to be smaller. The reluctance linear motor is more sensitive when executing the damping effect of the shock absorber, and intelligent control and more comfortable driving experience can be achieved conveniently. Meanwhile, in the working process of the magnetic resistance shock absorber, when weak current is introduced into a coil of the magnetic resistance linear motor, the coil generates power under the magnetic resistance effect, and the magnetic resistance shock absorption assembly serves as a power generator to conduct energy recovery.
