Methods and systems related to determining an order and/or location of driving lanes on a road segment are disclosed. In some embodiments, this may include using, for example, a degree of similarity or other suitable metric to obtain and cluster pavement profiles associated with a road segment. The position or lateral offset of the longitudinal section of the cluster may be used to determine the lane order and/or position. The resulting lane-specific information may be used to determine a driving lane of the vehicle by comparing road profile information associated with different lanes to a current road profile obtained from the vehicle. In other embodiments, methods and/or systems for enhancing global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals may include determining a lateral offset using an original GNSS signal and a GNSS location associated with terrain-based data for determining a corrected GNSS location of a vehicle.
