Disclosed herein is a method, system, and computer program product for detecting an emergency situation, comprising: scanning, with a sensor, an environment of an autonomous vehicle to which the sensor is connected to collect environment data; analyzing the environmental data using a historical data trained machine learning model to identify an emergency situation, wherein the analyzing includes identifying that at least a portion of the environmental data corresponds to a first emergency situation; in response to the identified first emergency situation, generating a data packet including environmental data corresponding to the first emergency situation; and sending the data packet to a reporting center.
