The invention provides an outside rear-view mirror control method and a vehicle, and relates to the technical field of vehicles. The method comprises the steps that when a vehicle is unlocked or powered on, the current position of an outside rear-view mirror of the vehicle is obtained; when the current position of the outside rear-view mirror is the abnormal unfolding position of the outside rear-view mirror, the outside rear-view mirror is controlled to move from the current position to the normal unfolding position of the outside rear-view mirror, and/or warning information about the abnormal position of the outside rear-view mirror is generated. When the vehicle is unlocked or powered on, the current position of the outside rear-view mirror of the vehicle is obtained, so that the abnormal condition of the position of the outside rear-view mirror can be found in time; when the current position of the outside rear-view mirror is the abnormal unfolding position, the position of the outside rear-view mirror is automatically adjusted, and/or warning information about the abnormal position of the outside rear-view mirror is generated, so that the driving experience and the driving safety of a user are improved.
