The invention provides a monitoring method and device for hoisting operation, equipment and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of image processing. The hoisting operation monitoring method comprises the following steps: acquiring a video image of a hoisting operation process; determining whether the hoisted object is in a pause state according to the video image; determining whether the hoisted object in the suspended state is relatively static or not; and under the condition that the hoisted object is not in the pause state or the hoisted object is not relatively static, the actual distance between the hoisted object and an operator is obtained, and whether a safety alarm is triggered or not is determined. According to the embodiment of the invention, the state of the hoisted object can be automatically judged in the hoisting operation process, and the safety of field operating personnel is guaranteed.
