The invention relates to the technical field of aerospace, in particular to a satellite system and a space junk capturing device. The satellite system comprises a connecting part, a plurality of mechanical arm grippers, a net bag and a plurality of unlocking devices. The first side surface of the connecting part is connected with a satellite; the multiple mechanical arm grippers comprise first arm rods and second arm rods, the rear ends of the first arm rods are hinged to the second side face of the connecting part, and the rear ends of the second arm rods are hinged to the front ends of the first arm rods, so that a capturing space is defined; the net bag is located in the capturing space and fixed to the inner surfaces of the first arm rod and the second arm rod, and a net bag opening is formed in the position, located at the front end of the second arm rod, of the net bag; an unlocking device is installed at the hinged position of a first arm rod and a second arm rod so as to limit rotation of the second arm rod relative to the first arm rod, and an unlocking device is installed at the hinged position of the first arm rod and the connecting part so as to limit rotation of the first arm rod relative to the connecting part. The capture success rate of space junk can be increased.
