A low-impact pyrotechnic box type separating and unlocking device comprises an unlocking assembly, a pressing assembly, a containing assembly, a separating assembly and a locking assembly, and a box cover opening function of the box type separating device is achieved through a pyrotechnic pin puller. The pressing assembly mainly utilizes a wedge block to realize a separated body pressing function; the containing assembly is mainly used for containing a separated body. The separation assembly is mainly used for achieving the separation function that a separated body is pushed out at a certain speed. The locking assembly is mainly used for achieving locking of the box cover and the push plate, and therefore it is guaranteed that no free body or redundant object is generated after separation. The firer box type separation device adopts two firer pin pullers to realize an unlocking function, the unlocking reliability is high, a high-precision guide rail is utilized to ensure separation speed and angular speed separation of a separated body, and the firer box type separation device can be used for realizing an on-orbit separation task of a cubesat or a precise payload.
