The invention relates to the technical field of cable fault positioning, in particular to a submarine cable fault positioning device and a using method thereof, the submarine cable fault positioning device comprises an underwater robot and further comprises a protective shell, the protective shell is fixedly connected with the lower side of the underwater robot, a temperature measuring instrument and an underwater camera are installed on the inner side of the protective shell, and a transparent plate is fixed on the lower side of the protective shell; the C-shaped supporting plates are installed at the front end and the rear end of the lower side of the underwater robot, openings of the C-shaped supporting plates face downwards, two positioning blocks and two adjusting units are arranged on the inner sides of the C-shaped supporting plates, the two adjusting units are used for connecting the C-shaped supporting plates and the positioning blocks, and the adjusting units are used for adjusting the positions of the positioning blocks. The C-shaped supporting plate, the adjusting unit, the positioning block and the contact block are arranged, the positioning block can clamp a cable through the adjusting unit, large displacement caused by the outside is avoided, movement of the underwater robot is more stable, the adjusting frequency is reduced, and the detection efficiency is improved.

    本发明涉及电缆故障定位技术领域,尤其是海底电缆故障定位装置及使用方法,包括水下机器人,还包括:保护壳,保护壳与水下机器人下侧固定相连,保护壳内侧安装有温度测量仪和水下摄像头,保护壳下侧固定有透明板;C型支撑板,C型支撑板安装在水下机器人下侧前后两端,C型支撑板呈开口朝下状,C型支撑板内侧设有两个定位块,调节单元,调节单元数量为两个且用于连接C型支撑板和定位块,调节单元用于调整定位块的位置。通过设置C型支撑板、调节单元、定位块、接触块,通过调节单元让定位块可以夹住电缆,让不会由于外部发生较大的位移,使得水下机器人的移动更加稳定且降低了调整的频率,提高了检测效率。
