The problems that an existing parallel type parking space is large in occupied space and low in vehicle traffic passing efficiency are solved.

    本发明提供了一种汽车及汽车横向移动和原地调向的方法,涉及汽车技术领域,采用的方案是:包括车身、前轮驱动装置和后轮驱动装置,前轮驱动装置和后轮驱动装置均安装在车身上;前轮驱动装置包括左前驱动电机、左前轮、右前驱动电机和右前轮,左前驱动电机能够驱动左前轮进行转动,右前驱动电机能够驱动右前轮进行转动;后轮驱动装置包括左后驱动电机、左后轮、右后驱动电机和右后轮,左后驱动电机能够驱动左后轮进行转动,右后驱动电机能够驱动右后轮进行转动;左前轮、右前轮、左后轮和右后轮均与地面接触,并都能够沿着垂直于地面的方向进行转动。解决了现有平行式停车位所存在的占地空间大和车辆交通通行效率低的问题。
