The invention relates to the technical field of vehicles, in particular to an ATV all-terrain vehicle braking system and method, and the ATV all-terrain vehicle braking system comprises a braking pedal and a braking assembly; the braking assembly comprises a traveling inhaul cable, an electronic control hydraulic control system, a front braking hose, two front braking calipers, a rear braking hose, two rear braking calipers, a whole vehicle controller, an electronic parking braking system and a parking inhaul cable. When a person drives, the brake pedal is treaded to achieve service braking, and the parking button is pressed to achieve parking braking. During unmanned driving service braking, the vehicle control unit sends a braking instruction to the electric control hydraulic control system; the front brake caliper and the rear brake caliper are controlled to clamp the brake disc; during unmanned parking braking, the vehicle control unit sends a parking instruction to the electronic parking braking system to tension the parking cable, and the rear braking calipers clamp the brake disc to generate braking force; therefore, the problem that an existing ATV all-terrain vehicle does not have the vehicle braking function during unmanned driving is solved.

    本发明涉及车辆技术领域,具体涉及一种ATV全地形车制动系统及制动方法,ATV全地形车制动系统包括制动踏板和制动组件;制动组件包括行车拉索、电控液压控制系统、前制动软管、两个前制动卡钳、后制动软管、两个后制动卡钳、整车控制器、电子驻车制动系统和驻车拉索;有人驾驶时,踩动制动踏板实现行车制动,按压驻车按钮实现驻车制动;无人驾驶行车制动时,整车控制器给电控液压控制系统发送制动指令;控制前制动卡钳和后制动卡钳夹紧制动盘;无人驾驶驻车制动时,整车控制器向电子驻车制动系统发送驻车指令拉紧驻车拉索,后制动卡钳夹紧制动盘产生制动力;从而解决现有的ATV全地形车不具备无人驾驶时车辆制动的功能的问题。
