The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle for water rescue, which comprises a main frame, rotor wings pivoted above four corners of the main frame, a suspension assembly mounted below the main frame, a camera mounted outside the suspension assembly, a motor mounted in the suspension assembly, and a counterweight assembly, one end of the rope is wound on an output shaft of the motor, the lower end of the rope penetrates through the bottom of the suspension assembly to be suspended downwards, and the counterweight assembly is bound to the lower end of the rope; the luggage carrier is separably mounted at the lower end of the counterweight assembly, and the luggage carrier is used for bearing rescue goods; the hook is mounted at the bottom of the luggage carrier, and the hook is used for hanging a life buoy; in the process of releasing the relief goods downwards, the overall stability of the balance weight assembly and the luggage carrier is improved through the weight of the balance weight assembly, so that the accuracy of throwing the relief goods carried by the luggage carrier to the target position is improved.
