The invention belongs to the technical field of power battery thermal runaway diagnosis, and particularly relates to an integrated BMS thermal runaway diagnosis method and system, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a real-time data set and a historical data set of air pressure in a BMS after the BMS completes the initialization self-inspection; when the BMS wake-up source is a non-sensor, the number of reference values in the real-time data set is determined based on set diagnosis time and a set acquisition period, when the number of the reference values meets a set value, whether the air pressure rising rate in the real-time data set is abnormal or not is judged based on a first thermal runaway condition, and if yes, a thermal runaway fault is reported; based on each stage of the thermal runaway of the single battery in the BMS and in cooperation with a second thermal runaway condition, determining that the BMS single battery fault flag bit is effective or reporting the thermal runaway fault of the whole vehicle; the diagnosis method provided by the invention can effectively monitor the internal data change of the battery pack, makes a response in a short time, and guarantees the safe operation of the battery pack.
