The invention discloses an unmanned vehicle following safety distance control method and system. A rear vehicle obtains real-time road condition information and the real-time vehicle distance and the real-time relative speed between the rear vehicle and a front vehicle through a road condition detection radar, a distance measuring radar and a speed measuring radar; judging whether the real-time vehicle distance is in a preset vehicle distance interval or not, if yes, adjusting the vehicle speed according to the real-time road condition information, and if not, adjusting the vehicle speed according to the real-time vehicle distance and the real-time relative speed until the vehicle distance of the two vehicles reaches the lower limit value of the preset vehicle distance interval and then keeps the same speed with the front vehicle. The distance measuring radar, the speed measuring radar and the road condition detection radar are integrated on the unmanned vehicle, real-time road condition information and the real-time vehicle distance and the real-time relative speed between the unmanned vehicle and the front vehicle are obtained in the vehicle following process, various data are synthesized, and different vehicle speed adjustment is made according to different vehicle distances. And thus, the following driving safety of the unmanned vehicle is improved.

    本发明公开了一种无人驾驶车辆跟车安全距离控制方法及系统,后车先通过路况检测雷达、测距雷达和测速雷达分别获取实时路况信息以及与前车的实时车距和实时相对速度;再判断实时车距是否位于预设车距区间,若是,则根据实时路况信息调节车速,否则根据实时车距和实时相对速度调节车速,直至两车车距达到预设车距区间的下限值后与前车保持同速。本发明在无人驾驶车辆上集成了测距雷达、测速雷达、路况检测雷达,在跟车过程中获取实时路况信息以及与前车的实时车距和实时相对速度,综合多种数据并根据车距的不同做出不同的车速调节,进而提升无人驾驶车辆跟车驾驶的安全性。
