The invention relates to an integrated dynamic braking system and a corresponding vehicle braking method. The system comprises an integrated brake module (100) comprising a brake master cylinder (MC) and a master cylinder reservoir (MRSV) and providing first and second fluid supply lines connected to first and second pairs of brake cylinders and a fluid discharge line (L3) communicating all of the two pairs of brake cylinders with the master cylinder reservoir, and a redundant brake module (200) comprising a remote reservoir (RRSV), first and second main channels are provided that communicate an outlet of a brake master cylinder with first and second fluid supply lines, and first and second redundant channels are provided that communicate the first and second fluid supply lines with the remote reservoir. The method includes the step of executing a redundant braking mode in which brake fluid from the remote reservoir is pressurized and supplied to the first and second fluid supply lines via the first and second redundant passages and further to each brake cylinder.
