The invention discloses a photovoltaic distributed grid-connected system along a railway. According to the system, photovoltaic arrays PV1 and PV5 located in a power supply arm tail end area pass through a two-stage grid-connected converter and a transformer and then are connected between a contact line T of a transformer located in a power supply arm tail end partition station AT and a steel rail R in parallel; the photovoltaic arrays PV2 and PV4 in the middle area of the power supply arm are connected in parallel between a contact line T of the AT transformer in the middle of the power supply arm and a steel rail R after passing through the two-stage grid-connected converter and the transformer; the alternating current sides of the back-to-back converters at the traction substations are respectively connected to secondary side outlets at the left and right sides of the traction transformer through transformers; a photovoltaic array PV3 in a traction substation area passes through a DC/DC boost converter, and an energy storage device passes through a bidirectional DC/DC converter and then is connected to a direct current bus led out of an intermediate direct current link of a back-to-back converter.
