The invention discloses a rare earth metal plate transfer method which comprises the following steps: a forklift provided with a sliding alignment arm is used for lifting up a bearing plate with a rare earth metal plate on a discharging table, and the bearing plate is aligned with a clamping groove of a quasi-locking working table under the supporting action of the forklift; and then a worker pushes the bearing plate with the rare earth metal plate into a clamping groove of the quasi-locking workbench in a sliding mode, and the metal wire conducts linear cutting on the rare earth metal plate under the guiding effect of the guiding wheel. A forklift drives an alignment arm on a fork arm to transfer a whole formed by a bearing plate, a rare earth metal plate and a rigid foam layer to a locking working table and then corresponds to the whole, and then a worker pushes the bearing plate from the alignment arm to be clamped into a clamping groove of the locking working table in a sliding mode. Due to the fact that a worker only needs to provide pushing force to push the whole composed of the bearing plate, the rare earth metal plate and the hard foam layer into the clamping groove of the locking workbench, the problem that the labor intensity is large in the process that the worker lifts the whole to a clamping opening of the locking workbench of the wire cutting machine and slowly aligns the clamping opening is solved.
