The invention discloses a pedestrian trajectory prediction method and device for traffic system simulation application, and the method comprises the steps: deducing a hidden mutual dependence relation from data, introducing a spatial convolution operation and a graph convolution operation which are defined on a graph, expanding the spatial graph convolution into space-time graph convolution, and employing a time expander convolution neural network, thereby achieving the prediction of a pedestrian trajectory. The output of the time expander convolutional neural network is subjected to dimensionality reduction through a full connection layer, and specific pedestrian future trajectory and prediction trajectory representation is generated, so that compared with an existing method, key aspects such as prediction errors, calculation time and the number of parameters are improved, and calculation efficiency is effectively improved.
