The present invention proposes a window mounting structure (24) to improve the mounting and maintenance of an aircraft window (18), the window mounting structure (24) having a mounting bearing joint (38) mounted on a fuselage (12). The window glass assembly (26) is inserted into the window opening (34) and presses the mounting frame (46) against the mounting support engagement portion (38). The mounting frame (46) may be locked in position with a locking member (59).
