An embodiment state of charge (SOC) control method for an electric vehicle includes: setting available power information based on a power amount of a battery; receiving use information about use equipment selected by a user from the external equipment, and matching the use information with preset load power data of a preset load power database; calculating expected electric quantity information of the used equipment based on preset load power data and the available electric quantity information; and providing the expected power information to the user equipment.
