The invention discloses a simulation millimeter-wave radar-based highway roadside perception identification method, which comprises the following steps of: establishing a virtual simulation scene model, researching a millimeter-wave radar echo generation method, particularly combining the virtual simulation scene model with BART, and providing useful and accurate data. Through analysis of simulation data, the performance of the millimeter wave radar for detecting the specific position information of the target is evaluated. A simple traffic road vehicle classification data set is constructed by performing image processing operation on the RDM generated by the simulation system. And a convolutional neural network is designed, so that the validity of simulation data is verified. A Markov model is used as a sample, and a target trajectory is predicted by predicting four characteristic values of a radial distance, a radial speed, a horizontal distance and a horizontal speed of simulation data. According to the invention, useful and accurate data can be provided for the research of deploying the millimeter-wave radar on the highway side, and the application research of the millimeter-wave radar in the traffic field can be expanded.
