The length adjusting mechanism comprises a steering column shell, an inner pipe column, a length adjusting motor, a length adjusting support, a length adjusting keeping support, a first lead screw, a first nut and an energy absorption piece, and the angle adjusting mechanism is used for adjusting the angle of the steering column. The angle adjusting mechanism comprises an angle adjusting motor, an angle adjusting support, an angle adjusting maintaining support, a top connecting support, a second lead screw and a second nut. The steering device has the advantages that an intermediate shaft connected between a traditional steering column and a steering gear is omitted, mechanical transmission is replaced by electric signal control, the arrangement space of the steering column is effectively enlarged, and the adjusting range of the steering column is obviously enlarged.
