The invention provides an air conditioner self-cleaning method and device and a vehicle, the method is applied to the vehicle, and the method comprises the steps that the actual content of target gas generating peculiar smell in an air conditioner of the vehicle is detected; identifying whether the actual content is greater than a preset content for starting the self-cleaning function of the air conditioner; and if the actual content is larger than the preset content, the air conditioner self-cleaning device is controlled to clean the air conditioner till the actual content is smaller than or equal to the preset content, the air conditioner self-cleaning device is turned off, and self-cleaning of the air conditioner is completed. According to the method, self-cleaning of the interior of the air conditioner can be achieved through the air conditioner self-cleaning device in the air conditioner, the problem that the air conditioner emits peculiar smell in the using process is avoided, and the experience feeling and comfort of a user are improved.
