The invention discloses a general modeling method for a mixed traffic flow vehicle following behavior, and belongs to the field of microscopic traffic behavior modeling and simulation, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining influence parameters of the mixed traffic flow vehicle following behavior, and taking driver characteristics into consideration in the influence parameters; establishing a general car-following framework of the mixed traffic flow vehicles based on the influence parameters; and on the basis of the general car-following framework, constructing a general car-following model of the hybrid traffic flow vehicles. Compared with the prior art, the technical scheme provided by the invention can reflect the following behaviors of the vehicles in the mixed traffic flow more comprehensively and more appropriately.
