The invention discloses a floating connector for satellite in-orbit docking, and relates to the technical field of connectors, the floating connector comprises a plug module and a socket module, the plug module and the socket module are respectively installed at docking positions of two satellites for docking, the plug module comprises a mounting base fixedly arranged on the satellite and a floating plug movably arranged on the mounting base, and the mounting base is provided with a limiting assembly used for limiting movement of the floating plug; the socket module comprises a shell fixedly arranged on the satellite and a connecting socket fixedly arranged in the shell, and the shell is provided with a docking port for the floating plug to enter; a plurality of correction blocks are distributed on the shell in the circumferential direction of the butt joint opening, and a driving assembly used for driving the correction blocks to slide in the direction close to each other or away from each other at the same time is arranged on the shell. According to the invention, when in-orbit docking of satellites is deviated and within a certain deviation range, accurate plugging of the connector plug and the socket can still be realized.
