The auxiliary electronic braking method comprises the steps that whether a brake handle switch is closed or not is detected; if yes, the electric bicycle enters a braking state; detecting front wheel rotation speed and rear wheel rotation speed, and calculating rotation speed difference according to the front wheel rotation speed and the rear wheel rotation speed; the rotation speed difference is compared with the slip limit rotation speed difference and the slip early warning rotation speed difference, and energy recovery current limiting and the duty ratio are controlled according to the comparison result; when the braking force is distributed unevenly, the rotating speed difference of the two wheels during braking is controlled by adjusting the power output of the motor, the stability of the vehicle during braking is achieved, and slipping is prevented.
