The polycarbonate solar automobile top cover comprises a PC glass layer, a solar cell module, a cell backboard and a colored frame, wherein the PC glass layer is an arc-shaped surface, and the solar cell module and the cell backboard are sequentially attached to the inner side face of the PC glass layer; a colored frame is arranged on the inner side face of the PC glass layer and along the edge of the solar cell module. The polycarbonate solar automobile top cover is prepared and formed through a vacuum bag pressing technology, light weight is achieved, meanwhile, solar energy can be used for supplying energy to an automobile, and then energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission of the automobile are reduced.
