The invention discloses an electric vehicle battery fault monitoring system which comprises a vehicle-mounted central electric control module, a communication module, a battery monitoring module, a high-low voltage electric control module and a thermal management module, and is characterized in that the vehicle-mounted central electric control module is used for controlling charging, discharging and pre-charging of a local electric controller and a battery pack; at least one or more battery packs are arranged; the battery monitoring module is used for monitoring physical parameters of a battery in real time and sending the monitored physical parameters to the vehicle-mounted central processing unit in real time through the communication module for data processing so as to output the battery state and feed the battery state back to the battery monitoring module for battery diagnosis. The high-low voltage electrical control module is used for controlling disconnection, connection and size adjustment of the high-voltage electrical equipment and the low-voltage electrical equipment; the heat management module is used for controlling the temperature of the battery so as to control the temperature, humidity and air supply temperature of the indoor environment of the vehicle; and the communication module is used for providing signal transmission service for all the modules.
