The method comprises the following steps: judging whether a coil and a contact of a relay in the charging pile have an adhesion fault or not; if the coil and the contact of the relay have an adhesion fault, a processor in the charging pile generates a de-adhesion instruction; executing a de-adhesion instruction to generate an acting force opposite to the adhesion force between the coil and the contact with the adhesion fault; and if the coil and the contact which have adhesion faults are disconnected after the de-adhesion instruction is executed, the execution of the de-adhesion instruction is stopped. According to the technical scheme, the fault of the charging pile can be timely and safely eliminated.
