The centering method comprises the following steps that S1, a steel plate is placed on a base through supporting bolts, equipment to be centered is installed on the steel plate, and the equipment is adjusted to be aligned with a reference axis in the Z-axis direction through the supporting bolts; s2, the steel plate is pushed in the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction through an abutting structure, so that the steel plate moves in the horizontal direction, and meanwhile, the equipment is aligned to the reference axis; s3, the abutting structure is locked, and the steel plate is locked by the abutting structure; s4, epoxy resin is injected between the base and the steel plate, the position between the base and the steel plate is filled with the epoxy resin, the steel plate is fixed, and equipment centering is completed. By means of the centering method, the equipment can be centered accurately and rapidly in a labor-saving mode, and the centering efficiency of the equipment is effectively improved.
