In order to enable an improved, simpler and/or more cost-effective arrangement of an additional part (14, 23), in particular a sensor element (15), on the chassis component (1), the chassis component (1) is characterized in that the additional part (14, 23) is fixed between the two wall sections (5, 6) and to the joint housing (9) by means of a clamping and/or pressing fit.
