The invention discloses a brake applied to a metallurgical vehicle. The brake comprises a main body seat, a main brake arm, an auxiliary brake arm, a driving device, a main tile block assembly and an auxiliary tile block assembly, an auxiliary spring seat, an auxiliary push rod and an auxiliary brake spring are arranged in the auxiliary brake arm; the auxiliary push rod is positioned on the outer side of the auxiliary spring seat; the device is applied to a metallurgical vehicle, the auxiliary brake arm and the main brake arm are connected and can be synchronously arranged on the main body base in a left-right moving mode, the main tile block assembly and the auxiliary tile block assembly are sequentially attached to the two side faces of a wheel respectively, the gear set is driven by the motor, the nut is driven by the gear set to rotate, and therefore the lead screw moves linearly; and the main spring seat is matched with the brake spring to promote the main push rod to move linearly, so that the main tile block assembly is directly pushed to be close to the wheel to realize braking, the wheel is clamped in a floating manner, the structure is simple, the stability and the reliability are high, the braking force is sufficient, the efficiency is very high, and the requirement of subsequent molten iron transportation automation transformation is completely met.

    本发明公开一种应用于冶金车辆中的制动器,包括有主体座、主制动臂、副制动臂、驱动装置、主瓦块组件以及副瓦块组件;副制动臂内设置有副弹簧座、副推杆以及副制动弹簧,该副推杆位于副弹簧座的外侧;本发明应用于冶金车辆中,通过将副制动臂和主制动臂连接并可同步左右活动地设置于主体座上,使主瓦块组件和副瓦块组件先后分别与车轮的两侧面贴合,并且通过利用电机带动齿轮组,由齿轮组带动螺母转动,使得丝杆直线活动,进而带动主弹簧座直线活动,并配合制动弹簧促使主推杆直线活动,使得主瓦块组件被直推靠近车轮实现制动,以浮动钳住车轮,其结构简单,稳定性和可靠性高,并且制动力足,效率也很高,完全满足后续铁水运输自动化改造。
