The invention relates to an expressway reconstruction and extension hard road shoulder open length determination and operation control method, and belongs to the field of intelligent traffic. The method comprises the following steps: arranging a plurality of groups of data acquisition equipment in an expressway reconstruction and extension intercommunication area and an upstream section range, and acquiring lane-level traffic flow data of a main line and a ramp at an equipment layout position; a traffic simulation platform is adopted to simulate traffic operation states of a reconstruction and extension intercommunication area and an upstream road section, evaluation indexes are collected, traffic operation states before and after hard road shoulder opening are compared, and the highway reconstruction and extension hard road shoulder opening length is determined; inputting the usable width of the hard shoulder opening and the average running speed of the vehicle, and outputting the vehicle type capable of being allowed to pass and the corresponding speed limit value by using the method for determining the vehicle type capable of being allowed to pass of the hard shoulder opening; main line and ramp lane level traffic flow data are input, and a hard road shoulder opening control strategy and an operation management mode are output by using a hard road shoulder opening control algorithm; and inputting the result into a hard road shoulder control outer side facility, and executing a hard road shoulder opening control strategy.

    本发明涉及一种高速公路改扩建硬路肩开放长度确定及运行控制方法,属于智能交通领域。该方法包括:在高速公路改扩建互通区域及上游路段范围内设置多组数据采集设备,获取设备布设位置主线及匝道的车道级交通流数据;采用交通仿真平台模拟改扩建互通区域及上游路段交通运行状态,收集评价指标,对比硬路肩开放前后交通运行状况,确定高速公路改扩建硬路肩开放长度;输入硬路肩开放可使用宽度和车辆平均行驶速度,利用硬路肩开放允许通行车型确定方法,输出可允许通行车型及相应限速值;输入主线及匝道车道级交通流数据,利用硬路肩开放控制算法,输出硬路肩开放控制策略及运行管理方式;将结果输入硬路肩控制外侧设施,执行硬路肩开放控制策略。
