The production method of the hot rolled steel coil for the hollow stabilizer bar comprises the steps that raw materials are sequentially subjected to molten iron pretreatment, converter smelting, LF refining, RH refining and continuous casting, and a plate blank is obtained; the plate blank is subjected to heating treatment and rolling treatment, and strip steel is obtained; wherein plate blank heating treatment is carried out in a weak reducing atmosphere heating furnace, and the atmosphere in the furnace is strictly controlled; the strip steel is subjected to cooling treatment and coiling treatment, and a hot rolled steel coil for the hollow stabilizer bar is obtained; wherein the cooling treatment adopts a relaxation type rear-section cooling mode. According to the invention, the problems of easy surface decarburization, developed banded structure and the like of the hot rolled steel coil prepared in the conventional production process are solved.
