The embodiment of the invention discloses a method, device and equipment for determining a lane where a target vehicle is located. The scheme can comprise the following steps: acquiring a first numerical range of a distance between a vehicle body boundary position of a target vehicle and a target reference line, and a second numerical range of a distance between a lane boundary position of a target lane and the target reference line; and judging whether a coincidence range exists between the first numerical range and the second numerical range or not, and if the judgment result shows that the coincidence range exists between the first numerical range and the second numerical range, determining the target lane as the lane where the target vehicle is located. According to the scheme, the comprehensiveness and accuracy of determining the lane occupied by the target vehicle on the target road can be improved.
