The method comprises the steps that the bottom of the cabin is divided into a front bottom section and a rear bottom section in the length direction, wherein the front bottom section and the rear bottom section comprise transverse bulkhead structures; the bottom section of each large section is divided into a left section, a middle section and a right section in the width direction, the middle section comprises a main engine base area structure, and the left section and the right section each comprise an inner bottom plate structure, a broadside outer plate section, a high-position seawater door and a low-position seawater door; a longitudinal wall and transverse wall structure for connecting the upper-layer section and the bottom section of the cabin is divided into an upper section and a lower section along the height direction, and the lower section structure is divided onto the bottom section; and tightness and strength tests are completed. According to the ultra-large container ship engine room bottom basin outfitting structure division method, the problem of cross operation of a ship body structure and a unit module in a narrow space can be solved, meanwhile, the engine room bottom outfitting integrity can be greatly improved, and the ship building period is shortened.
