The driver attention system (34) is configured to: determine a degree of drowsiness of a driver (12) of the vehicle (100) using data provided by the monitoring unit (30), the monitoring unit (30) being configured to determine one or more driver parameters based on a current degree of drowsiness; determining a current driver concentration degree and an estimated remaining driver concentration degree time, wherein the driver concentration degree is inversely proportional to the drowsiness degree; and determining, using data provided by the navigation system (34), an estimated remaining travel time before reaching the desired destination, where the estimated remaining travel time is determined if based on the current driver concentration degree, the estimated remaining concentration degree time and the estimated remaining travel time. Generating a binaural beat of 20 Hz or higher via at least two first loudspeakers (20) of an audio system of the vehicle (100) if it is determined that the current driver concentration level is equal to or higher than a defined threshold concentration level and the current driver concentration level will decrease and fall below the defined threshold concentration level during the estimated remaining travel time, wherein the binaural clocks are audible to the driver (12).
