The invention discloses a clearance compensation device for a subway platform. The clearance compensation device comprises a transmission driving device, a telescopic plate, a movable support assembly and a vehicle body height limiting assembly. The transmission driving device is suitable for being installed on the lower portion of the shielding door and is matched with the telescopic plate when the shielding door is opened. The movable support assembly is suitable for being movably installed on the lower portion of the edge of a platform. The telescopic plate is elastically and rotationally installed on the movable support assembly, a pedal is formed on the outer side of the telescopic plate, and a plurality of telescopic devices are arranged at the outer end of the pedal; the vehicle body height limiting assembly is suitable for being installed on the lower edge of a vehicle body getting-on and getting-off treading position. The transmission driving device can drive the telescopic plate to be close to or away from the vehicle body when moving along with opening and closing of the shielding door, the telescopic plate and the pedal are driven to swing up and down together, and the telescopic device is inserted into the vehicle body height limiting assembly to form butt joint of height compensation. The horizontal gap and the height difference between the train body and the platform can be automatically compensated, and the problem of the gap between the rail transit platform and the train is solved.
