The invention discloses a workpiece overturning device and method. The workpiece overturning device comprises a base, a first rack, a second rack, an overturning frame and a rotating frame. The first machine frame is movably connected with the base, the second machine frame is arranged on the first machine frame, the overturning frame is rotatably arranged on the second machine frame, the rotating frame is rotatably arranged on the overturning frame, and the rotating axis, relative to the overturning frame, of the rotating frame is perpendicular to the rotating axis, relative to the second machine frame, of the overturning frame. The rotating frame is provided with a grabbing piece used for grabbing a workpiece. According to the workpiece turnover device, the workpiece can be controlled to rotate along the two axes perpendicular to each other, any to-be-machined face of the workpiece can face the preset direction without manual assistance of workpiece turnover, follow-up machining of the workpiece is facilitated, and the production efficiency of the workpiece is improved.

    本发明公开了一种工件翻转装置及翻转方法,工件翻转装置包括基座、第一机架、第二机架、翻转架和旋转架;第一机架可移动地与基座连接,第二机架设于第一机架上,翻转架可转动地设于第二机架上,旋转架可转动地设于翻转架上,旋转架相对翻转架的转动轴线与翻转架相对第二机架的转动轴线相互垂直;旋转架上设有用于抓取工件的抓取件。本发明实施例的工件翻转装置能够控制工件沿两个相互垂直的轴线转动,无需人工辅助工件翻面,即可使工件的任意待加工面朝向预设方向,以便对工件的后续加工,提高工件的生产效率。
