The invention relates to an underwater robot, and aims to provide an IPMC-based bionic odd shrimp device which has the characteristics of simple local structure, small size and convenience in underwater detection. According to the technical scheme, the bionic odd shrimp device based on IPMC drive comprises a head, a body and a tail piece which are sequentially connected, and a plurality of fins connected to the two sides of the body; the device is characterized in that the head part is provided with tentacles; the body comprises a plurality of sections of shells which are sequentially connected and are respectively provided with the fins, each section of shell is communicated with the head to form a closed inner cavity, and the inner cavity is internally provided with three IPMC driving controllers for controlling the fins, the tentacles and the tentacles and a battery; the head part is provided with a small hole for replacing eyes of the odd shrimps, and a camera and an illuminating lamp are arranged in the small hole; the fins and the tail piece are all made of IPMC driving materials and are electrically connected with an IPMC driving controller.
