The invention relates to the technical field of submarine cable laying, and particularly discloses a method and system for controlling the cable laying speed of a cable laying ship based on water depth measurement, and the method comprises the steps: measuring the water depth HC below a cable outlet of the cable laying ship and the water depth HL at an inlet of an embedded plough in real time in the advancing process of the cable laying ship; judging whether the front is flat or uphill (delta H is less than 0) or downhill (delta H is greater than 0) according to the difference value delta H between the HC and the HL, if the front is not flat, measuring the horizontal distance LS between the cable outlet of the cable laying ship and the inlet of the burying plough, and when the cable laying ship continues to advance for the preset horizontal distance L at the preset cable laying speed, recording the horizontal distance LS as LS; the water depth HCi below the cable outlet position of the cable laying ship, the water depth HLi at the inlet position of the burying plough and the horizontal distance LE between the cable laying ship and the burying plough at the moment are measured every preset time period, and therefore the cable laying speed V'of the next preset distance L is calculated according to HCi, HLi, delta L = LS-LE and V, the cable laying speed is adjusted in real time according to the actual situation of the seabed slope, and the cable laying efficiency is improved. And constant-tension laying of the submarine cable is ensured.

    本发明涉及海缆敷设技术领域,具体公开了一种基于水深测量的敷缆船放缆速度控制方法及系统,通过实时测量敷缆船行进过程中,敷缆船出缆处下方的水深HC以及埋设犁入口处所在水深HL,根据HC与HL的差值ΔH判断前方是平坦或上坡(ΔH<0)或是下坡(ΔH>0),如果是非平坦,则测量此时敷缆船出缆处与埋设犁入口处之间的水平距离记为LS,并在敷缆船继续以预设放缆速度前进预设的水平距离L期间,每隔预设时间段测量敷缆船出缆处下方的水深HCi和埋设犁入口处的水深HLi,以及此时敷缆船与埋设犁之间的水平距离LE,从而根据HCi、HLi、ΔL=LS‑LE和V计算下一段预设距离L的放缆速度V',实现了根据海底斜坡的实际情况,实时调整放缆速度,进而保证海缆恒张力敷设。
