Therefore, whether the brake block normally acts or not can be accurately monitored, potential safety hazards caused by the fact that the brake block cannot clamp the ratchet wheel to stop the escalator or the moving sidewalk are eliminated, and meanwhile the problem that the escalator is stopped abnormally due to the fact that the brake block and the clamped ratchet wheel cannot be normally loosened is solved. And the operation reliability and safety of the escalator or the moving sidewalk are greatly improved.
