The invention discloses a protection method, device and equipment for a vehicle transmission shaft and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: calculating the allowable maximum output torque value of an engine under each gear of a gearbox based on the bearing torque of the transmission shaft and the current transmission speed ratio of the gearbox; according to the difference value between the current transmission speed ratio of the gearbox and the pre-stored speed ratio of each gear of the gearbox, the current operation gear of the gearbox is determined; the maximum engine output torque value allowed by the current operation gear is determined, and the maximum accelerator output value corresponding to the maximum engine output torque value allowed by the current operation gear is determined; and the current accelerator value is compared with the maximum accelerator output value, and the minimum operation is carried out so as to limit engine accelerator output. The transmission shaft is protected by limiting the output of the accelerator, and the transmission shaft is prevented from being damaged due to overlarge torque output of the engine.
