The method has the advantages that the generator efficiency MAP and the universal characteristic curve of the engine are creatively combined, the electric quantity is saved, the fuel efficiency is improved, the comprehensive fuel consumption per hundred kilometers and the comprehensive energy consumption per hundred kilometers in a hybrid mode can be reduced by about 5%, the utilization rate of a battery is remarkably increased, and the energy consumption per hundred kilometers is reduced. And the driving range of the hybrid electric vehicle is increased.
