The invention relates to a cooling system (1) for an electric tractor (2) of a motor vehicle (3), comprising at least the following components: a circulation line system (4) for conveying a first cooling liquid (5); the circulating pump (6) is used for conveying the first cooling liquid (5); a compensation container (8); a motor input connection (11) for fluidly connecting the loop piping system (4) to the electric tractor (2) on the input side; a motor output connection (12) for fluidly connecting the circulation line system (4) to the electric tractor (2) on the output side; and a first heat exchanger (13) for dissipating heat from the first cooling liquid (5) and/or supplying heat to the first cooling liquid. In a first circulation direction (7), a first heat exchanger (13) in the circulation line system (4) is arranged downstream of the force tractor (2) and upstream of the compensation vessel (8). By using the cooling system provided by the invention, the loss of the dielectric cooling liquid can be reduced.
