The invention provides a hybrid power system and engineering machinery. The hybrid power system comprises an engine, a gearbox, a first motor, a battery, a power interface, a first load mechanism, a second load mechanism, a power distribution mechanism and a third motor. The hybrid power system comprises a first charging line and a second charging line. An external power source is connected to the battery through the power interface to charge the battery to form the first charging line. The power distribution mechanism drives the first motor to rotate so as to generate power through the first motor to charge the battery to form a second charging route; the hybrid power system further comprises a third charging route, a fifth charging route or a sixth charging route. The engine spans the power distribution mechanism or the gearbox to directly generate electricity through the third motor or the first motor so as to charge the battery, so that the third charging route, the fifth charging route or the sixth charging route is formed. According to the hybrid power system and the engineering machinery, multiple charging modes are achieved, the battery energy supplementing modes are enriched, the energy supplementing efficiency of the battery is improved, and the requirement for electric energy in the working process of the hybrid power system can be met.
