The invention relates to a roadside unit-based mining area traffic density real-time monitoring method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out image acquisition on the strip mine area based on a roadside unit preset at the top end of a mine pit of the strip mine area, and detecting vehicles in the image acquired by the roadside unit based on a YOLOv5 algorithm; the vehicle tracking unit is used for tracking vehicles in the images acquired by the roadside unit based on a DeepSORT algorithm, generating a vehicle motion trail, and completing statistics of the number of the vehicles in the strip mine area based on the vehicle motion trail; and based on a preset algorithm, according to the number of the vehicles in the strip mine area, respectively calculating the traffic flow and the traffic density of the mine area. The traffic volume of the strip mine area is accurately sensed, the traffic density of the strip mine area is calculated in real time, a basis can be provided for dispatching and commanding work of production operation of the mine area, the transportation efficiency of the mine area is improved, the transportation safety of the mine area is enhanced, and the production of the mine area better meets the actual requirements of customers.
本公开是关于一种基于路侧单元的矿区交通密度实时监测方法、装置、电子设备以及存储介质。其中,该方法包括:基于预设在露天矿区的矿坑顶端的路侧单元对露天矿区进行图像采集,并基于YOLOv5算法检测所述路侧单元采集的图像中车辆;基于DeepSORT算法,对所述路侧单元采集的图像中的车辆进行跟踪,生成车辆运动轨迹,并基于所述车辆运动轨迹完成露天矿区内车辆数量的统计;基于预设算法,根据所述露天矿区内的车辆数量,分别计算矿区交通流量及矿区交通密度。本公开精准感知露天矿区交通量、实时计算露天矿区交通密度可以为矿区生产作业的调度指挥工作提供依据,促进提高矿区运输效率、增强矿区运输安全,使矿区生产更好地满足客户的实际要求。
